About us
Taakulo Somaliland Community (TSC) is a non-profit humanitarian organization established in 2005. TSC is dedicated to the empowerment of disadvantaged people throughout Somaliland by carrying out relief and participatory development programs emphasizing human dignity and self-reliance.
TSC had previously been established for assisting affected areas in Somaliland where a great of suffering prevailed due to the persistent occurrence of famine and drought.
TSC has provided relief supplies to many areas in Somaliland by providing hospital equipments, wheel chairs and other orthopedic devices and exercise apparatus to Somaliland disability groups.
We have also assisted Orphans by providing sponsorship program and bursaries to enable children to go to school.
TSC involves in water projects in drought affected areas where we implemented Water reservoirs,
Education projects (building schools with community participations) and environment conservation, and democratization process,
where TSC participated as an International election observer such as Republic of South Africa, Republic of Kenya and Finland.
TSC implements its programs through its field offices at the regions, and works with international partners whereby it co-operates with more than five INGOs from Africa, Australia and Europe to provide relief aid and humanitarian development programs to the people in need in Somaliland.
